After discovering the delicious pictures on Zizi’s Awesome Vegan 2 Go Facebook page, we had to immediately post about them. The dishes are filling and deliciously flavorful. They offer a great variety of dishes and also have daily specials to keep you always coming back. Zizi’s has a great following in Charlotte and if you are new to eating vegetarian or vegan you won’t be disappointed.
Zizi’s vegetarian/vegan restaurant is a healthier new option for eating in Charlotte, NC. We all enjoy one of the most bountiful and affordable food supplies in the world. Yet, with this abundance comes over consumption of total fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol. Poor or inadequate diets are linked to 4 of the top 10 causes of death—heart disease, cancer, stroke, and diabetes—and to other health conditions, such as overweight, hypertension, and osteoporosis. According to the Centers for Disease Control, obesity is a major health epidemic due to unhealthy lifestyle and bad food choices.
In addition to offering amazing food we will network with local health and wellness establishments to offer workshops, information, cooking classes etc. Our menu is moderate sized and priced, offering a diverse collection of ethnic and American items with a common theme –healthier (low-fat, no cholesterol, natural ingredients), flavorful, and familiar. Our goal is to create the image and deliver satisfying, nutritious food that won’t slow or weigh you down.
