The variety of fruit and vegetable is greater than you might think, discover how you can get a wholesome meal with all local produce.

Green New Year’s Resolutions
Wednesday, December 29th, 2010With every new year comes new resolutions, and there’s no better way to stay true to yourself and to the planet than by making a few green new years resolutions. Energy Smart Charlotte wants to make your choice for 2011 a little easier, by providing our readers with some great and easy green new year’s resolutions to follow.
1. Ditch paper and plastic bags completely and only use reusable shopping bags.
2. Stop buying bottled water and bring your own reusable water bottle. Same goes for coffee mugs at work.
3. Compost leftover food.
4. Really do start reycling, we got those big new green bins for a reason. (more…)
