Name: Charlotte Critical Mass
Location: Common Market
When: Every Last Friday of the Month

Charlotte Critical Mass is a monthly event that anyone with a bicycle can join. The purpose of the event is to get out and have fun riding with bunch of nice people through our Charlotte area. The event purpose is to also create awareness and appreciation for bikes on the road. The group meets every last Friday of the month at 7:30PM. Meeting locations may vary but are usually at Common Market (Plaza and Commonwealth).

Charlotte is still in the growing stage and has room for what it can become. That means that Charlotte has a lot of potential to become a green leader for our state and our country, especially when it comes to road grids and infrastructure. The goal of Charlotte Critical Mass is to not forget about the bikes along the way. Road extensions ahead, the city can plan in the blueprint to have sidewalks and bike roads included. A smart grid for our roads, means Green Transportation, encouraging people to take a stroll by foot or on the bike. It will make the bike riding experience in Charlotte safer for bikers and the cars on the road, and looking through the big picture promote green transportation, and a healthier Charlotte.

Charlotte Critical Mass is a fun experience and a great way to promote Charlotte, North Carolina’s future.
