Business and energy leaders, government officials and economic development experts will discuss and debate the following question: What energy policies would create the most renewable energy jobs and attract the most business opportunities to the 16-county Charlotte region? Registration for the educational event and networking reception is $25 for NCSEA members or government and $35 for non-members. This event, which will be the first of several planned NCSEA events for 2010, will provide the status and an overview of pending energy policy legislation that could create market opportunities for the Renewable Energy Industry in the Charlotte Region. This event will focus on the feed-in rate financing mechanism, which has been used successfully by countries around the world and US cities, and how the Charlotte Region could create jobs while attracting and growing a renewable energy industry if a well-designed feed-in rate policy is passed.
