Description: Get outside, get moving and get healthy! Fresh air, sunshine, beautiful surroundings and wonderful people are included! This is a medium to fast paced walk. Ages 12 and older. Admission: FREE Location: Reedy Creek Nature Center 2900 Rocky River Road Charlotte, NC 28215
Directions: Traveling I-85 to or from Charlotte Follow I-85 to Exit 45-A (East W.T. Harris Blvd.). Travel on East W.T. Harris Blvd. to the 4th stoplight and turn left onto Rocky River Rd. Follow Rocky River Rd. for approximately ½ mile, turn left at the stop light, and then just past the fire station turn right into Reedy Creek Park and Nature Preserve. Follow the main park road to a t-intersection and stop sign, then turn right and proceed to the Nature Center parking lot. Come enjoy this FREE offering by our newest Bindu practitioner, Abe Rummage from AcuCare Clinic. Abe will lead a discussion on Community Acupuncture – what it is and how it differs from traditional acupuncture.

He will also be doing performing some treatments on those who desire to receive them. “Community acupuncture” makes acupuncture treatment more accessible to people of all income ranges by treating small intimate groups of patients instead of individual private treatments.

Every month people who work in the environmental field, the eco curious, and the environmentally minded meet up at informal sessions known as Green Drinks.

These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity. It’s a force for the good!
