Mecklenburg County Market : Beverly’s Gourmet Foods will be at the Mecklenburg County Market Wed. 7am – 6pm, Thurs. & Fri. 9am – 6pm, Sat. 7am – 3pm. The Charlotte Folk Society plays at our Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Atherton Mill Market: Beverly’s Gourmet Foods will be at The Atherton Mill Market on Tues. 4pm – 7pm, Wed. 9am – 1pm, and Sat. 9 am – 2 pm. The market is located in the former Charlotte Trolley Barn adjacent to the corner of South Boulevard and Tremont Avenue in the Historic South End ( 2104 South Blvd. ). Please make sure to indicate if you will be picking up at this location.

The food that recovery agencies pick up is donated by supermarkets, restaurants and farms. In most cases, the rescued food is being saved from the dumpster and, ultimately, the landfill. Food recovered on farms is kept from being plowed under. On farms, the donations often must be harvested, or gleaned, by volunteers.
